Our Story

Founded by Hari Oli and his family, Ramailo Ghar was born out of a simple observation — visitors to Kalinchowk deserved a place that felt like home. A place with clean rooms, warm food, and people who genuinely cared whether you rested well.

The name says it all. "Ramailo" in Nepali means joyful, lively, wonderful. "Ghar" means home. Ramailo Ghar is meant to be your joyful home away from home.

The resort offers five room types to suit every group size and budget.

• Single Bed Room — Rs. 400/night — ideal for solo travellers and pilgrims.
• Double Bed Room — Rs. 800/night — comfortable for couples and small families.
• Triple Bed Room — Rs. 1,500/night — great for groups of up to 5 people.
• Four Bed Room — Rs. 2,000/night — spacious accommodation for up to 8 guests.
• Hall Room — Rs. 4,000/night — our largest room, perfect for groups, retreats, or events of up to 10 guests.

Location & Access

Ramailo Ghar is located in Chothang, approximately 3 kilometres from the Kalinchowk cable car station and a short drive from Charikot, the district headquarters of Dolakha. The resort is easily accessible by road from Kathmandu — approximately a 5–6 hour drive via the Araniko Highway or Koshi Highway.
